ThinkYoung STEM School
Over the past decade, ThinkYoung and its partners have trained more than 1,900 teenagers across Europe, West Asia, and Africa - including Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda and Ethiopia - with over 60% female participation.
2025 marked the 10th anniversary of our STEM School (formerly ThinkYoung Coding School), dedicated to advancing STEM education. Our curriculum has evolved over the years to ensure that all students - regardless of background or skill level - gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies. Recent updates include new modules on AI, robotics, and the metaverse.

Our Approach
Our approach is informed by ThinkYoung’s Skills Mismatch 4: East Africa report, which highlights the importance of on-the-job training, internships, and skills development, especially for women and under-represented groups.
We believe that joint public- and private-sector initiatives are essential to expanding access to ICT skills and creating opportunities in higher-value sectors. This combination of delivery experience and research insight ensures our programmes are locally relevant and effective.
